PALM TREES
Visiting Key West and Havana prompted my fascination with palm trees. The palm paintings are like studies: divide the paper in half vertically, draw and paint the trunk, add a watercolor wash for the sky, fill in with lots of vegetation, add the palm fronds. Nature wins.
